Program Underway !

EWGA has offered beginner members an opportunity to take introductory lessons to play golf.  Upon completion of the five lessons, the ladies will have an opportunity to transfer into a beginning league in June. EWGA members will assist in mentoring the league so that the new members feel comfortable, ready and excited to golf with us.  Pictured here is new member Joanne Demaree, CPA, CGMA and Chief Financial Officer of Home HeadQuarters, Inc. She is taking her first lesson with Jason Wall (Instructor in the Jeffrey M Clark PGA –A1 Professional Golf Academy). from The Links at Sunset Ridge).  Joanne had taken a few lessons many years ago but never really had the time to play much.

She decided that it was time to figure out what those clubs in her bag were all for, take up golf as an activity, network and meet new friends.  So far, Joanne has been very happy with her experience “. Jason is an awesome instructor.  He didn’t overwhelm me, but he didn’t talk down to me either.  I feel my confidence is already improving”. Please join us in welcoming Joanne to the CNYEWGA. We look forward to playing and getting to know you!  By the looks of that follow through after one lesson, we think you will do just fine!
