Janis Luce Named a 2009 Women Who Lead Finalist!
On December 16, 2009, the EWGA announced the finalists of the 2009 Women Who Lead Awards. Hundreds of women from Chapters across the U.S. were nominated in this premier EWGA Leadership Award Program. The Women Who Lead awards were designed to recognize and honor women who have made a difference in their Chapter through outstanding performance and outstanding results in 10 award categories. The categories include: Overall Leadership, Spirit, Change Agent, Membership Growth, Sponsorship, Making Connections, and Community Impact.
Our Chapter President, Janis Luce, was selected as a finalist in the "Overall Leadership" category. She is now in the running for the overall winner in that award category, which will be announced in February. As a finalist, she will receive a Women Who Lead commemorative gift, recognition on the EWGA website and in the EWGA Connections e-Newsletter, Insignia for use in the Chapter communications, and recognition at the 2010 EWGA Golfpalooza.
